The Swan Valley is where WA’s first vines were planted in 1829 and is Australia’s second oldest wine region. Located on the outskirts of Perth (West Australia’s Capital City). There are over 40 wineries producing world-class Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Shiraz, and Grenache wines. The Swan Valley produces some of the most stunning fortified wines made in Australia. Most of the vineyards are family-owned and operated, enabling a wealth of knowledge, skills, and experience to be passed down through generations.
The warm, dry Mediterranean-style climate makes the Swan Valley ideal for growing numerous grape varietals, although the region is widely known for Verdelho, Chenin Blanc, Shiraz and Grenache. A combination of traditional winemaking methods and a modern twist.
